Working it Out: a new, free employment resource from Shift

Shift's Working it Out is a comprehensive new resource designed to help employers raise awareness of mental health in the workplace, and to help them give the best possible support should a member of staff become unwell.

Working it Out includes a brand new set of employment films - complete with training notes and resources - as well as Shift's existing films and documents for employers.

The resource is designed to be used within group workshops and training sessions.

Working It Out employment films

The five short films show employees recounting their real-life experiences of mental health conditions within the workplace, mixed with dramatic reconstructions. The films also feature managers who describe how they effectively managed and supported their colleagues.

Shift's original employment films. A series of three fictional short films designed to raise awareness and encourage discussion of mental health in the workplace. The resource also includes an interview with one of the actors, who talks about his own personal experience of mental health problems.

Personal Stories
