Shift took part in a World Mental Health Day event in Walthamstow, north-east London.

Gordon Brown also made a statement about the stigma directed towards people with experience of mental health problems:

"The day when anyone with mental illness can live free of the fear of stigma is coming but it is the responsibility of all of us to bring that day about as quickly as possible."
